  Kerstin Anita Marianne Ekberg (Swedish pronunciation (listen) 29 September 1931 - 11 January 2015) was an Swedish actress in American and European films, famous for her beauty and stunning appearance. Her performance as Sylvia in Federico Federlini's film La Dolce Vita (1960) was a hit and made her famous. Ekberg was born in Sweden on the 29th of September 1931. She was the sixth child of eight. Anita was a fashion model throughout her teenage years. Ekberg, at the urging by her mother, in 1950 was a contestant in Miss Malmo. This resulted in her winning the Miss Sweden contest. Nicole Scherzinger, born June 29th, 1978 in Honolulu was raised in Louisville. At a high school that was a performing arts institution, she won The Coca-Cola Classic Talent Contest and was a part of numerous productions at The Actors Theatre of Louisville.
