Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching was born March 28 1977. She is an American actress. Her roles include Renee Walker on the American television series 24. Motion recording and voice work were also performed for Tess in Naughty Dog’s videogame The Last of Us. Wersching was born in St. Louis, Missouri and raised there. She went to the high school of Crossroads College Preparatory School in the Central West End of St. Louis which she graduated from in 1995. In her youth, she was a competitive Irish dancer as well as a member of the St. Louis Celtic stepdancers. Millikin University gave her a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, which was her final degree in 1999. Wersching started her acting career through appearances on the television show Star Trek: Enterprise, then went on to play appearances as a guest star on shows such as Charmed Killer Instinct Supernatural and Cold Case. She played Amelia Joffe, a recurring character on ABC's daytime soap series General Hospital from March 2007 until November 2007. She also appeared in theatres like Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire and the Utah Shakespearean Festival.Wersching was FBI Special Agent Renee Walker in the seventh and eighth seasons of 24.After her two-season run on 24 Wersching guest starred on various shows that included CSI, NCIS, Rizzoli & Isles, Hawaii Five-0, Body of Proof, Dallas, Revolution, Castle, Blue Bloods, The Vampire Diaries and Touch (which also features the co-star of 24 Kiefer Sutherland). In 2014, she was the regular series star for Bosch, an Amazon Prime crime drama Bosch. Wersching played the National League's catcher in 2009's Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game. In December 2012, it was revealed Wersching was the voice actor as well as the mo-cap actor Tess in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us. Geoff Keighley teased her character on Twitter, before she was announced in the Spike Video Game Awards story trailer on December 7th the 7th of December, 2012. Wersching would be playing the character of the Borg Queen in Star Trek: Picard in September 2021.
