Robin Gayle
Robin Gayle Wright was born to Gayle
(Gaston) she was director of national operations at Mary Kay and Freddie
Wright. Her home was San Diego, California. She started her professional career
as a model in 1980 at the age of 14, and was a model in Paris and Japan. After
graduating from high school, she decided to pursue a career as an actress. She
was included in the soap opera Santa Barbara (1984), where she was nominated
three more times for Daytime Emmys. In the initial season of the show, she
began to fall in love with fellow cast member Dane Witherspoon, whom she got
married in 1986. Meanwhile, she starred in The Princess Bride (1987) in the
title role. Following her departure from Santa Barbara, she was given the lead
role in Denial (1990), alongside Jason Patric. She got to know Sean Penn in
1990 while she was in State of Grace (1990). They had a daughter Dylan Frances
with him and a son called Hopper Jack. Robin came back to Hollywood after a
break with one of her most famous parts: Tara in The Playboys (1992). She was
stunning and flawless. Next, she was in Toys (1992) in the film Toys (1992)
alongside Robin Williams. She gave an enthralling performance. In 1994, Wright
was in the blockbuster sensation Forrest Gump (1994), with Tom Hanks. Wright
received a nomination for the Golden Globe Award in recognition of her
performance in the film as Jenny. She got a small role in The Crossing Guard
(1995), which starred Jack Nicholson. After declining 14 roles she was cast in
the title role of MGM/UA's Moll Flanders (1996), directed by Pen Densham, and
co-starring Morgan Freeman and Stockard Channing. Her next film was Erin
Dignam's Loved (1997) along with William Hurt.
