Anne Burrell

Anne W. Burrell is an American TV personality who is a chef, and a ex-teacher at the Institute of Culinary Education. Anne Burrell. Burrell hosts on Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on the Food Network, as well as co-hosting Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell's Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant chef is a hit with her signature hairstyle and her pumped up personality, provides the basics of cooking that anybody can learn. Chef Burrell has worked in New York at top restaurants as well as studied Italian cuisine tradition and its landscape. She also competed as Iron Chef America on Food Network. As a child in the upstate New York area, Chef Burrell found a passion for food and cooking at a young age. The Culinary Institute of America was where she studied to earn an English diploma and Communications diploma in Canisius College Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America was where I had the most fun time of my life. I didn't have enough knowledge, couldn't do enough couldn't work hard enough. After graduating, Burrell spent one year studying in the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners and worked in the Umbrian restaurant La Taverna del Lupo as and Tuscany's La Bottega del 30, a Michelin-starred restaurant. During her time in Italy she was able to fully comprehend and appreciate the philosophy of Italian cuisine and culture which made a lasting impression from a culinary perspective. Burrell has been a member of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board to brighten children's lives who are facing difficulties. Burrell is also a Juvenile Research Foundation celebrity ambassador which promotes the awareness of children with diabetes. She travels frequently around the country in her role in the capacity of mentor and an invited speaker, where she talks about her work and passion for cooking. Anne declared that she felt fortunate to be able to share her true passion with others.
