Vanessa Ray is an American actress and singer who has appeared in movies such as Devil's Due and TV shows such as Suits. In her career as an actress, she began by taking on minor role and starring as guest actors on stage and television shows. As the World Spins, the soap-opera she was a regular guest on, was her first important character. The show was a look into everyday life of medical and lawyers. Later, she became known as Jenny Griffith in the legal drama Suits. Harvey Specter a law firm and Mike the legal assistant who played his legal assistant, were the protagonists of the series. The show received high praise and multiple prizes. Her work also includes the drama about police officers Blue Bloods. Reviewers for the show were generally favorable. Ray was in a variety of films including Not Waving But Drowning, a drama where she portrayed the protagonist and The Rumperbutts, a musical comedy where she appeared with varying characters.
